Background on Color Street
Founded by Fa Park in 1988 after witnessing a woman in NYC traffic struggling to paint her nails. Park developed a way to create nail polish strips – made from 100% real nail polish – that result in great looking nails minus the mess and drying time.
Over the past 30 years, Color Street has fine-tuned their collection to include glitter, patterns, and a wide array of solid shades. Color Street now carries more than 60 varieties of nail polish strips!
How to Apply
- Select size of nail polish strip that best fits your nail.
- Peel off clear cover.
- Gently peel polish strip using the silver tab.
- Carefully break off the silver tab.
- Apply strip to nail and gently stretch over nail.
- File off the excess nail polish strip.
Our Experience with Color Street
These were actually really fun! Being gifted a set of Color Street nail strips was a huge surprise for my daughter. So she really enjoyed her little impromptu manicure the other day!
After watching the brief video above on how to apply the strips – I set to work putting on the super cool nail strips. Application was relatively easy and we had her mani done in about fifteen minutes! My husband commented that he was surprised that the strips smelled like real nail polish! Duh! They’re made of real nail polish!

My daughter and I really enjoy painting our nails and Color Street definitely makes the process a lot faster and less messy! In the future, I would certainly purchase Color Street – especially for fun (and super easy) patterns and designs.
