Joggers are the new … joggers!

Styling is key when it comes to joggers. Pair a classic jogging pant with a basic tee and a denim jacket and you’re laughing – in the face of the cold Autumn temperatures. Add some extra interest with colourful or animal print sneakers.

Also try a more sporty look with a half zip athletic top in a similar colour. Or a contrasting shade. Whatever works for you!

The right layering is anything but basic.

Remember the simple rules for layering: a lightweight base layer (tank, tee, l/s tshirt), a warm mid layer (flannel shirt, cardigan), and protective outer layer (jacket, windbreaker). Dressing in the manner in the cooler ‘tober months, will allow for shedding and/or adding a layer as needed.

Try these layering combos:

  • ribbed tank | plaid flannel shirt | quilted vest
  • long sleeve waffle knit | fine knit cardigan | menswear blazer
  • poplin button-down | knit v-neck sweater | over-sized scarf
  • lace camisole | long plaid shirt | teddy bear overcoat
  • plain white tee | hooded sweatshirt | classic trench

Athleisure is perfect for workouts.

While almost every workplace dress-code is different, many brands offer office appropriate styles. Because, let’s be honest, sitting at a desk all day demands comfort!

Look for comfortable – and versatile – pieces that can be paired with wardrobe basics. Like, a wide leg slip-on pant with a fine-knit crew neck. Since the pandemic, the rules of dressing for work are far more relaxed. Your employer wants you in the office! They don’t care as much what you’re wearing!

Sweaters and smiles are the perfect cold weather combo!

Keep it simple, but with a twist! Go monochrome with your look with a tone-on-tone sweater & pair of trousers. Wear your fave buttoned knit backwards for a stylish change. And go for a little colour this season with some nature-inspired shades.

Don’t forget a little “sweater” accessory here and there. Knit socks, scarves, toques, and even vests are a great *and cozy* accent to your cool weather look.
