My Go-To Blogging Tool

As a relatively new blogger I soon realized that the time you need to invest in your “hobby” (for some anyways) is surprisingly A LOT!

Posts contain one or more affiliate links. See full disclaimer.

Not only do you have to devote time to graphic design, site management, actually zeroing in on your concept, not to mention writing the blog posts – but you need to get your little side project out on the world wide web for ALL to see!

Through the countless hours scouring Pinterest sourcing what apps and programs a first time blogger needs to have in order to be (hopefully) successful – I found Tailwind.

Tailwind is a scheduling tool for sharing your world on Pinterest and Instagram. You can even share your posts on your Facebook page at the same time!

This, dare I say, life-saver has allowed me the freedom to schedule my social media posts weeks in advance.

Upload your image and write your caption.

You know when you see a post on Instagram from your favourite influencer and it’s everything you want your posts to look like!? It’s grammatically correct, spell-checked, formatted in sentence/paragraph form – it looks like it took them hours to put together.

Do you really think someone shared this kick-ass post using their phone? No way! It was (likely) done using a scheduling app – like Tailwind.

Now here’s a word we all like to hear – FREE!!!

Suggested Hashtags – Hello, time-saver!!

This holy grail of blogger must-have programs is free to use (to a certain extent anyways). The number of posts you can share is limited to 30 Instagram posts and 100 Pinterest Pins before you upgrade to the Plus Plan.

This trial shows you how Tailwind can simplify your schedule so you can use your time more wisely - on your actual blog posts or, I guess, with your family as well.

You can easily view your scheduled Instagram posts, including a grid preview so you'll know what your feed will look like and make changes if necessary.

Personally, I only use Tailwind for Instagram anymore. I really couldn't get a handle on the Tailwind Tribes for Pinterest (you can post up to 30 Pins with the Tailwind Free Trial). For me, pinning direct to Pinterest is much easier. But definitely give it a go!

Schedule your pins to your Tailwind Tribes.

Oh wait! I forgot to mention one of the best features of Tailwind - auto post! Yep, you read that right! Drop a batch of photos in the Publisher -> Scheduled Posts, write your caption, hashtag the shit out of it, and then hit Add to Queue! Done like dinner baby!

Note: In order to Auto Post to Instagram your account must be a business account.

So, if you're a busy blogger, or even a social media influencer, give Tailwind a try - you won't regret it!
