When I made the decision (not lightly BTW) to start a blog of my own, I began researching other bloggers who have travelled the same path that I was about to begin – and had done so successfully!

Even though creating a blog looks easy, this is a big misconception, because blogging is no cake walk!
There is a lot of work involved, believe me when I tell you this. Blogging takes commitment, an insane amount of time, creativity, money (NOT FREE), bravery, and especially, in most case anyways, authenticity!
The women that I have “met” through their writings are amazing. They are putting it all out for the world to see! The good, the bad, the taboo, the serious and the goofy! These women are inspiring and motivating in a profound way and they have had an effect on me that has inspired me to follow the path that I`m currently on.
Though I follow a good number of bloggers, these are the top three that I check out on a regular basis.

The Birds Papaya
Sarah Nicole is one badass chick! After losing like a hundred pounds, she uses her blog to chronicle her journey of self-love, true love and family love. I admit that when I first saw Sarah Nicole’s Instagram posts, I was a little intimidated. I know you should never judge a book by it’s cover, but this woman is fucking gorgeous. But, from what I’ve read on her blog and social media posts, she is such a down to earth, non-pretentious person, who I could chat over a bottle of wine with anytime! @thebirdspapaya
Everything Meli
It was Meli’s attention to detail and consistent branding that caught my interest! All of her images have the same warming effect that draws you in to read her latest post! This home-body lifestyle blogger covers everything from beauty products and jewellery to DIY home decor and fashion! Meli also reviews and endorses the most amazing small shop finds, including candles, jewellery, and essential oils! I love that she’s a small shop supporter – shop local! @everythingmeli
Ashley Srokosz
Ashley is a true angel! She is a holistic nutritionist, lady-boss entrepreneur, Doterra Diamond Leader and all around sweetheart! I tune into her essential oil classes on Facebook and Instagram! Her knowledge of EO is staggering and she shares her own personal struggles and growth in her teachings. I also follow her EO education posts on social media via @anextraordinaryco. Love this woman!
Not only are these women doing what they love with passion, being true to themselves, and an inspiration to women everywhere – they are also ALL CANADIAN!
