Work From Home Styles for Spring

This whole working from home thing has been a difficult adjustment, to say the least. Most days I stay in my jammies until at least lunch, but I’m trying to fix that. The daily temperatures have finally begun to level out and our day time highs are getting warmer and warmer! Warmer weather = a wardrobe change! Here’s a few ideas I’ve compiled for work from home styles for Spring.

When dressing for a WFH day, the focus mainly goes to comfort! Even when I’m going in to the office – still sitting for the majority of the day – I strive for a relaxed fit. Currently, I’d classify my shape as midsize and I’ve adjusted my shopping habits to reflect my changing figure. #confidentlycurvy

Normally, my go-to outfit of choice is a pair of black Lululemon leggings with a roomy tshirt – which will always remain in my wardrobe! But with the welcoming of Spring, I feel the urge to wear something feminine – florals, perhaps (ground-breaking!) – and adding a few seasonal trends to my day-to-day style.

Now, the challenge here is to add a few fun pieces to my closet without breaking the bank! I already shop way too much online, so I kinda need to rein that in a bit. But clothes shopping doesn’t always have to hurt your pocketbook. Here’s a few ways to refresh your wardrobe – each season – without over-spending!

  • Buy secondhand. Browse thrift shops and consignment sites for gently used clothing and accessories.
  • Sign up for sales alerts from your fave brands. This way you’ll know when you can score a great deal.
  • Chat with IG and Facebook friends to see what they’re wearing. Influencers often share coupon codes!
  • Browse apps like Poshmark and LiketoKnow.it for savings and fashion finds for less!

Shein

Online shops, such as Shein, offer on trend clothing, accessories, footwear, swimsuits, and even items for the home all at prices that are very affordable. There is zero guilt found when adding items to the cart from this international retailer! You’re welcome! Oh, by the way, Shein offers Mens and Kids options!

Amazon

It still surprises me that Amazon – of all places – is a great source for really amazing fashion finds! This is the site where I’ve found sweaters, hand bags, and gear for my daughter. All at prices that were more affordable than big box retailers! Amazon is the place where you’ll find trendy items for the whole family – not to mention decor for your home and a little treat for the family pet! Finding work from home styles for Spring has never been easier!

A new feature through Amazon – at least new in my little world – are custom Amazon store fronts. So, basically, anyone can create (for a fee) a little “shop” featuring all of their fave finds from Amazon! Genius, I know! Bloggers, influencers, and entrepreneurs everywhere are banking on something as simple as sharing their most treasured finds from Amazon.

Here are a few incredibly curated Amazon Shops! All of these store fronts were created by a few of the amazing women that I follow on Instagram. These shops feature home decor, family games, toys for the kids, cool tech gadgets, and of course an assortment of cool clothing and accessories for the whole family.

Well, I hope this post provided some style inspiration and maybe you even found some awesome deals on a few Spring trends! Personally, I am all for updating my wardrobe a bit each season and if I can score some affordable finds – that’s a bonus!

If you need me, I’ll be doing a little online shopping!! 😉

Love this! Shein is my favourite so far. They have a lovely selection of plus-size items which is so nice and doesn’t break the bank. I’m all for dresses and a casual blazer on top for spring though it’s definitely a little overdressed for home haha. Thanks for sharing x
